Team Structure and Responsibilities
Medical Doctors
Our three medical doctors are:
- Dr Kyriacos Maras
- Dr Christina Vryonidou
- Dr Antonia Perikleous
Each patient is assigned to one of these doctors together with an assisting doctor from the above team, who will be responsible for their procedure. The hair transplant process is broken down into several smaller tasks that are linked together to achieve the desired result.
The Assigned doctor will:
- Be Conducting a comprehensive pre-operative consultation with the patient, including designing and drawing of the hairline, define the recipient area, plan the expected graft density, and give a detail explanation of the procedure and realistic expectations.
- Administer local anesthesia in collaboration with the assisting doctor to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Perform follicular unit excision (FUE) in the donor area, which is the surgical step used to separate each follicular unit from the scalp before extraction.
- Create the recipient sites (incisions), which determines the final aesthetic outcome, including hairline design, density distribution, angulation, direction, and overall natural appearance.
- Maintain continuous medical supervision to ensure medical accuracy, patient safety, and optimal surgical results.
Responsibilities of the technical team:
- Extracting follicular units exclusively after completion of the physician – performed punching phase.
- Cleaning and Sorting grafts under high-powered microscopes.
- Assisting with graft implantation in strict accordance with the physician’s recipient site design and surgical plan.
- Ensuring patient comfort during the procedure.
- Delivering post-operative care, including guidance on washing protocols, scab management, and application of topical healing solutions to promote optimal healing and recovery.
Clarification:
Punching: refers to the surgical incisions made by the doctor around each follicular unit.
Extraction: refers only to the careful removal of those grafts after the punching has been completed.
Through precise coordination, our medical team consistently achieves state-of-the-art hair transplant results. You can be assured that your procedure will be performed in accordance with the highest standards of medical practice and industry excellence.
